Richard Kress was phenomenal German player and athlete, the oldest scorer in EC final and Bundesliga, the oldest debutant in Bundesliga. Kress was right winger who covered whole right side from attack to defence, he had machine condition and could run 180 minutes. He had good crosses, and could score with head as well, perfectly two-footed player with outstanding speed and very good dribbling skills, very strong although sometimes knew to fall easily to get the penalty. Kress began his career at the Fulda traditional club FV 1910 Horas. In the 1953/54 season Kress moved to Eintracht Frankfurt. Kress was standing in a memorable final of the European Champions Cup, the UEFA Champions League today.
