The best ever French winger. Vincent had spectacular dribbling skills aand good speed, especially on the ball. Besides he was good scorer as well, scored some goals with his head as well. Sometimes looked selfish but with such a phenomenal dribbling it's normal he always tried to dribble his markers. Jean Vincent began football in his hometown club, Etoile Sportive Labeuvrière in 1943. At 16, he joined the U.S. Auchel newly crowned amateur champion of France. Editor coach Elie Fruchart, it progresses rapidly and can be found in select junior team from France. In April 1949, he participated in the second European Junior Championship held in the Netherlands. John Vincent and his teammates Foix, Bonifaci, Meaño particular, win the tournament final by beating the hosts 4-1. This is the first international trophy for a football team of France. Spotted by the neighbor club Lille OSC, he signed his first professional contract at age 19. It begins with the first team 27 August 1950 against the Red Star (1-1) and scored his first goal late in the season against FC Nancy (2-1). In total, he played four games and scoring a goal during this first season. In June 1951, he played the semifinals of the Latin Cup against Sporting Portugal (1-1) and then the final against AC Milan which ended in defeat 5-0. The following season, Vincent stands out as the team owner in Northern France and scored 14 goals including a hat-trick in the 17th day against Racing Club De Paris (7-3). The club finished third in the championship of France, losing in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France against Bordeaux (2-1). He stopped his career in this relegation to 34 years. He earned 46 caps and scored 22 goals for the France national football team, and played and scored in the 1954 FIFA World Cup, the 1958 FIFA World Cup, and the 1960 European Football Championship. Vincent enjoyed considerable success as a coach at Nantes, taking them to two league championships. Appointed Cameroon's coach for the 1982 World Cup, with a side containing Thomas Nkono and Roger Milla, Cameroon performed admirably and drew all three games, missing out on a place in a second round only on goals scored.
