Bengt Lindskog was inside forward, later midfield playmaker, most known for his long range shots and very good technique. He was player of impressive stature for his era, with good ground passes, strong and reliable although he was intricate and liked to enjoy in good wines like his teammate Nacka Skoglund. Lindskog was relativly slow player but elegant in style of Nils Liedholm. It's a pity his problematic attitude prevented him of making even bigger impact in Italy, which was especially evident when he moved to Lecco as major signing but unfortunately he had a lot of arguments there and soon left the club after a 3 problematic seasons. Lindskog was purchased by Udinese in the summer of 1956. With swedish club Malmö FF Lindskog plays in an amateur level (at home is linotypist) and did not hesitate to accept the offer by the company from Friuli. In the beginning it is not brilliant: liver disease makes it difficult in the environment. Lindskog played at Udinese for two seasons, scoring 29 goals, a good haul for a midfielder. Later he moved to Inter from strong will of Bigogno Peppino, his coach in Udinese. In Milano, Lindskog is appreciated for his dedication and his professionalism. At Inter Lindskog played in three seasons a total of 102 appearances and managed to score 35 goals. Transferred from Inter to make room for Luis Suarez, arrived in the 1961-62 season to Lecco, where he follows the ups and downs of "bluceleste" team in Serie B. Bengt Lindskog died on 27/01/2008.
