Bugatti was very good keeper with lot of acrobatic saves and flights. He had good speed with quick reflexes, strong and elastic, though sometimes knew to exaggerate in his acrobations. Although relatively short, he was pretty tough in physical play. But he wasn't always very consistent, especially showing problems with bad positioning from time to time. But when he was in the good mood, he was practically unbeatable producing some spectacular saves. He even managed to play for NT despite not being a player of any big and rich teams from the north Italy, at least not during his peak years. He did later move to Lombardy but at the end of his career, used as a backup for the starting keepers.
