Titus Ozon is former Romanian legend, one of the best players to emerge from Romania. He was a true wizard with the ball, an absolute expert in dribbling with great ball control, the ball stick to his feet like a glue. Titus knew also to make good pass and was great scorer as well, good tactician also who could orchestrate the attacking line of his team. He played 270 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, was top scorer and two Romanian. He also took part in the Olympics 1952. Titus Ozon began his career in his hometown of Bucharest at Unirea Tricolor. While there he moved on in 1944, first in the team, but due to the interruption of the game kriegsbedingsten operation until 26 October 1947 to his first race in the top division, the Divizia A. When in May 1948 Unirea Tricolor with local rivals Dinamo Bucharest Bucharest Ciocanul was joined, he came into the squad for the first team of Dinamo. When Ozon was for Dinamo was a regular player, but switched to the start of the 1951 season league rivals Dinamo Oraşul Stalin, who had emerged from the second team of Dinamo. After only one year he returned to Dinamo and experienced in the years 1952 and 1953 the most successful seasons of his career when he was next to the runner and the most successful strikers of the Divizia A. In 1954 ozone was leaving Dinamo, he with the machinations of the association did not agree. He was then abducted by the secret police, Securitate, the Danube Delta and imprisoned. One night, he could escape and returned to Bucharest. After arriving in the capital, he joined local rivals Progresul, who had just ascended to the Upper House. If he could make his scoring Progresul also initially demonstrated in 1957 but was not regularly used. During a tournament in Greece brought him out of the historical events in 1954. Ozon was locked, and only pardoned, as he promised in the future for Rapid Bucharest, the Romanian club to play the president Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. After six eventful years, he ended his career there in 1964. In the years 1961 and 1962, he was able to move in with rapid cup final. Ozon was 1952-1962 to 22 missions in the Romanian national football team, where he scored seven goals. His first try, he had on 11 May 1952 against Czechoslovakia when he was substituted towards the end of the meeting and the final score 3-1 met. In the same year was one of the ozone squad for the football tournament of the Olympic Games in Helsinki, where he came in the game against the eventual Olympic champions Hungary to use. In the fall of 1962 came back after five year absence Ozon for three games in the national team and was their captain. After ending his playing career Ozon worked as a coach. From 1964 to 1968 he managed his former club Progresul Bucharest, which he managed after relegation in 1965 the chances of promotion. He then took over the league rival Jiul Petrosani, with whom he twice failed to qualify for European competition in short supply. After a brief engagement at Arges Pitesti in 1971, Ozon in 1972 took over the Libyan national team. Two years later parted ways and he returned to Romania, where he again managed Jiul Petrosani. He subsequently worked for FC Braila (Divizia B, rise just missed), Targu Jiu Pandurii (Divizia C rise), Azotul Slobozia (Divizia C) and Şoimii Sibiu (Divizia B) He finished his coaching career in 1979. He died in 1996.
