Abdelaziz Ben Tifour played mainly as inside forward but due to his versatility he also played as wing half and left winger. Small, lively, technically gifted player with good defensive work, solid passing range and shot, elegant and real conductor of the play of his teams. During the summer of 1948 he landed in France, more precisely on the Riviera, to play for the club OGC Nice and becomes a major player in the heyday of the club. Abdelaziz wins with OGC Nice on France Championship in 1951 and then performs the following year doubled the Championship Cup-France France. At the cup final against Girondins Bordeaux, he scored the fourth goal with a shot from 18 meters is required and Nice 5-3. Its good results are called in Nice on France team and he celebrated his first cap May 22, 1952 against Belgium. Ben Tifour is selected for the FIFA World Cup 1954 in Switzerland, he played the second match against Mexico and provides an assist to John Vincent, France is required but the 3-2 draw between Brazil and Yugoslavia ( 1-1) puts an end to hopes of qualifying for the second round. He scored 56 goals in 246 games in First Division, as hastily left Tunis and Monaco to join the FLN team in 1958. Upon his arrival in Tunis, Ben Tifour is hosted by the FLN officials who did not believe in the team, thinking she would be beaten by the best teams in the world. Players such as Ben Tifour Rashid and Mustapha Zitouni Mekloufi them prove otherwise by beating Yugoslavia and by holding up Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Within four years, Ben Tifour who was one of the first to join the team, will be assigned the role of captain, then the coach during tours in the Far East and Eastern Europe. When Algeria gained its independence, Ben Tifour, unlike Mekloufi Oudjani and returning to Europe, becoming player-coach at the Sports Union of the Medina of Algiers. He won with the club the first football championship in Algeria in 1963. In 1965 he became assistant coach of the team from Algeria, a position he held until 1969. He died in a car accident when he was coach of JS Kabylie. Three weeks after his death, a tribute match occurs on Stade du 20-août-1955. The nine survivors of the historic FLN team are, for the first and last time, meeting on a football field in Algeria.
