INFOPierre Grillet is the fastest French winger without the ball, but he looses of his efficiency ball at the feet, because he has some diffuculties to see well the collective play. He played as an outside right but also sometimes as inside forward. Pierre was more a scoring winger rather than classic winger in charge of crossing, although he could make a good cross but he was more prone to rushing in the box and search for the goal. He was very fast with good goal instinct. He played for Racing Club de Paris, in 1953 reached the final of the Coupe Charles Drago. This club played soon regularly for the championship in fourth in 1957, 1959 and 1960, and 1961 runner off third. A title win, he managed in his ten years in racing, however, any more than a victory in the national cup competition, so its not very abundant Palmarès fails. The template generator and winger Pierre Grillet place twice on the front ranks of the D1-scorer: 1954/55 as the 14th with 13 hits and 1956/57 even as the 8th with 17 goals. Beginning of the season 1961/62 Racing sold it to a total of 212 first division with 69 hits (of which 187/63 by Parisians). A teenager at that time still a small amateur club, Pierre Grillet participated in 1950 with the French vintage selection at the UEFA youth tournament, which defeated the defending champion in the final with the hosts Austria 2-3. As an adult, the attacker came to nine A-international appearances, go where he also scored twice. He debuted in October 1954 in a 3-1 victory against Hannover in the new World Champions Germany. After four operations in 1956 but was followed three years of interruption, so that he was also in the squad of Les Bleus to the 1958 World Cup not taken into account. He played his last international game in March 1960 in Vienna on the occasion of the 4-2 success in the Europa Cup qualification via Austria. Grillet was then also the French squad for the European Championship finals in 1960, came in their own country but not used, because coach Albert Batteux him on the right wing position in the semifinals his Paris teammate François Heutte and in the match for 3rd place Yvon Douis preferred.
