INFOXercès Louis (October 31, 1926 – 1978) was a French footballer who played as a midfielder. He won 12 caps for France between 1954 and 1956. Very versatile player, useful in defending and attacking, he played as wing half or centre half. Louis was very good in ball recuperations, tireless runner, had good pace, very strong in aerial play and with powerful shot but also technically gifted and elegant player. At least he was posthumously in Lens set a monument which stands opposite the Stade Felix-Bollaert, where the most loyal fans of the racing club their place, now bears his name.
