Xercès Louis (October 31, 1926 – 1978) was a French footballer who played as a midfielder. He won 12 caps for France between 1954 and 1956. Very versatile player, useful in defending and attacking, he played as wing half or centre half. Louis was very good in ball recuperations, tireless runner, had good pace, very strong in aerial play and with powerful shot but also technically gifted and elegant player.
