Todor Diev is former Bulgarian striker. He was right winger but more a scorer like Gigi Riva rather than classic winger. Very fast player, especially on the ball, powerful and agile who'd eliminate opponents on the right wing like tornado, great scorer as well. Legendary striker is twice the top scorer of the championship in 1955 (13 goals) and in the season 1962/1963 (with 26 goals). Diev played 308 games for Spartak, which in group noted a total of 146 hits. In European competition for Spartak (Pd) has 6 games and 1 goal (4 games with 1 goal and 2 in the Cup match for the UEFA Cup). The "A" national team has played 55 matches in the period from 1955 to 1965 and scored 16 goals. He was born on 01.28.1934 year goes from this world of 6 January 1995. Champion of Bulgaria (1963) and Cup winner (1958). Debut in the national team - 13/11/1955, against Czechoslovakia (3-0) and his last game was Oct. 27, 1965 0:5 against Belgium in Brussels. He won bronze at the Olympics in 1956 and played at the Olympics in 1952 and 1960. A participant at the World Cup in Chile in 1962. Honored Master of Sports. Author of goal against Brazil at the stadium "Morumbi" in 1958 when he was offered a transfer to the country of coffee. Included in the top team of Bulgaria from 1944 to 1974. Todor died in 1995.
