INFO

Manol Manolov won the domestic league for a record twelve times. He was centre half, very strong and tenacious, unyielding, had good control of defensive line and sense of anticipating, he was also pretty fast defender. Simoliyata was born on August 4, 1925 in Sofia. He played for teams Ustrem (Sofia) (1942-1944), September (Sofia) (1944-1948) and CSKA 15 years - from 1948 to 1962 (in five of them is the captain of the team). Manol Manolov has one of the most honorable places among the heroes of the Red successes from 1948 to 1962 Years of dozens of titles and cups. Quarter-tournament for the European Cup, which is played 17 matches. Bronze medalist at the XVI Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956, participated in the Olympics in 1952 and 1960. There are 239 games in the "A" group. There are 57 games and 1 goal for the national team between 1950-1961. Record in Bulgaria titles as a player - twelve in 1948, 1951, 1952, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961 and 1962, winner of the Cup of the Soviet Army in 1951, 1954, 1955 and 1961. Three times champion of Bulgaria as coach of CSKA in 1971, 1972 and 1973, three times winner of the Cup of the Army as coach of the 1972, 1973 and 1985. Recognition of Europe and Bulgaria's coaching successes Manolov can never be erased from history. Always demands the most from his pupils, Simuliyata more often scowl and crude than smiling and liberal. There may be dissatisfied with his rigor and rigor in the training process, maybe some will accuse him, he could not find a common language with the individual genius Dimitar Yakimov, but the relationship between the coach and the players were always accompanied by difficulties and irregularities. Manol Manolov has one more term coaching at CSKA - in 1984-85, when the team is in a tough period - silver in the sidelines without a victory over rivals. After five rounds played in the fall of 1984 CSKA have only point and occupies the last place in the standings. But Simuliyata zapretva sleeves and makes it almost impossible - even 60 years, he again gives Red Club and climb to second place, while CSKA won the Cup of the Soviet Army and the Cup of Bulgaria. Moreover, after the victory against the "Levski", in June 1985, which red fans waiting indefinitely - for two years. He died in 2008.
