The left back and occassionally left winger. Very fast player and mobile, not spectacular or too strong but very versatile and secure, above all pretty consistent and respected by the coaches. Athlete of the capital clubs: Marymont (1949-52), Aviator (1953), Legion (1954-1967) and RKS Membrane (1968-1972). One of the leading players of the team Łazienkowska military, where in 14 seasons he played 217 league games, scored 3 goals, 2 Polish titles (1955, 1956) and was 3-times Polish Cup winner (1955, 1956, 1966). 36-times Polish representative (35 A +1), made ​​his debut in the match against Romania (1955), and saying goodbye to the national team during a meeting with Belgium (1962).
