INFOŽeljko Čajkovski (5 May 1925 – 11 November 2016) was a Croatian football player and coach, who played as a forward. He played for NK Dinamo (1945 – 1956). With NK Dinamo he won two Yugoslavian first league titles (1948 and 1954), and Yugoslavian Cup in 1951. He appeared 447 times scoring 249 goals for NK Dinamo. After NK Dinamo he also played for Werder Bremen (1956 – 1958). Left winger and inside left, very fast, piercing, very good technician, shooting with left leg, very good vision, excellent passing range, very mobile. He assisted many goals for Franjo Wolfl and Stojan Osojnak. Zeljko Čajkovski was already playing for Zagreb national team when he was 18 years old. Besides football he played tennis and table tennis. For Yugoslavian national team (1947-1951) he played 19 matches and scored 12 goals. First time he appeared in national team 11.5.1947. Against Czechoslovakia (1:3) in Prague, and the last time he played on 24.6.1951 against Switzerland (7:3) in Belgrade. He was also playing in World Cup 1950. In Brazil. In third game in qualifying match against France in Italy, he scored last goal for Yugoslavia and able Yugoslavia to qualify to World Cup. The game was played on 11.12.1949. He scored goal in 114th minute. They had to play third match because first two matches finish 1:1 in Belgrade and in Marseille. In those times he was one of the players which were important for national team. He won silver medal (second place) on Olympics in London. He was silver prize winner from NSJ (National Association of Yugoslavia), for appearing for national team 4 years.
