INFOS:

Miguel Arcanjo is remembered as one of the best center backs in Porto history. Also, during his prime, he was considered by many as the best center back in Portugal. However, he only played in 9 games for the Portuguese NT, mostly because his career was blighted by injuries and health problems. He played for Sporting de Benguela in his native Angola, from where he came to Porto in which he became the first African player in club's history. While traveling to Europe with ship, he developed an eye infection. Luckily, doctors saved him from blindness. When he arrived in the club, he established himself in the center of Porto defense, alongside Virgilio and Osvaldo. He was known for excellent defensive positioning and reading of the game, he had good leap, and decent technique. Also, he was quite quick and agile. With Porto, he won two League titles and two Portuguese Cups. Also, he's remembered for always playing in the number 3 shirt.
