He started his career in Vojvodina affiliated club Sloga, when he was one of the most talented players. He moved to Vojvodina main team, wher he stayed just for one season because of military service. In his army days, in 1952/1953. he played for Partizan Belgrade with brilliant success - 50 goals in 53 games. He went back to Vosa where he became the most profilic goalscorer in club history, with 126 goals in 196 games, in 4 seasons finishing as league top scorer. He stayed there until 1961. After Vojvodina he had minor episodes in european clubs Sampdoria, First Vienna, R.U. Saint-Gilloise and Austria Klagenfurt. He finished career in Proleter Zrenjanin in 1968.
Toza Veselinovic was a very gifted player with good speed and fantastic technique, but he lacked in discipline and ambition. Fantastic shooter, scored goals from different and impossible angles, mainly using precision and swerve, but sometimes could put fantastic power on ball. There wasn't a player who he couldn't dribble through, or a place where he couldn't send the ball. Also, at international level he has fantastic score - 28 goals in 37 games. In game against Wales, in 1954. he enterd in second half and scored hat-trick. He played in the 1954 FIFA World Cup, 1958 FIFA World Cup, and Olympics 1956. where he contributed the team with 4 goals in winning silver medal.
