INFO:Azizuddin was a side back or centre back. He spent the majority of his career at Hyderabad City Police from 1949 to 1960, year of his retirement. A legend in his country, he was an international player, member of the 1951 inaugural Asian Games winning squad. He took part also to the 1952 and 1956 Olympics.
Azizuddin wasn't very tall, although he had a strong build. Gifted with superb technique and a powerful shot, he was though known for his deft passes. As he could use both feet, this quality provided different tactical options. He could set up an attacking play or a counter-attack with accurate long cross-field passes to either side. Moreover, he was capable in the air. He was never agitated. Instead, he played carefully, with calmness. He had an impeccable sense of position and an understanding of a high level with his teammates. Former player Syed Nayeemuddin said about Azizuddin: « he was like a Brazilian defender due to his superb skills ».
