INFO:Nesti was a left wing-half. He spent most of his career at Spal from 1948 to 1952 and Inter from 1952 to 1957, making 125 appearances in both teams, scoring respectively 5 and 6 goals. He retired in 1960 after three seasons at Prato. He was called up for Italy 5 times and scored once.
Excellent but maybe not too consistent midfielder, Nesti was gifted with good technical qualities and enough stamina to run and cover the space in front of his defence for the whole match. He was quite tall and possessed great determination as well as physical strength. In fact, he liked pushing forward and trying to break through the defence, sometimes obtaining free kicks. He occasionally attempted to score but his shots weren't accurate most of the times.
