Pinda was one of the most beloved players in Velež history. He started to play as wing half but soon was moved to centre forward position. His trademark was rocket shot from distances of more than 30 meters and from free kicks but he could score directly from corners as well. Very strong player with good dribbling, but he was easy to provocate when he'd kick the opponent quite often and get a many red cards, also had many verbal conflicts with the audience and referees. He could also provide decent passes to his temmates but lacked discipline and will for serious football.
