Luis Molowny as a player enjoyed great career, playing mainly as inside left. Technically gifted player with excellent dribbling, great passing range and good shot, even scoring sometimes with his head. He had good pace and was known for his runs on the left flank and good crosses. Pace, precision and dribbling. These virtues made the Canary Islander a true genius and later an idol at Madrid.
