INFO

Francisco Campos Salamanca was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward, one of the greatest Atletico legends. He played as inside left, more a scorer than playmaker, excellent technician, capable of dribbling couple of players in a row. Great scorer with outstanding heading skills and positioning in the box although he wasn't too fast player. Paco had very powerful and precise shot and could make a good pass to his teammates. He played at Las Palmas until 1936, the year the Civil War broke out. During the war with the team participated in the Aviation weapon in Salamanca, from which after the war would be the Atlético Aviación to 1946. The canary scored 8 goals in 17 games for the achievement of the first League Championship. And not the last, as next season Atletico won another title. Paco remained for 7 campaigns in the team, a league runner-up (43/44), and four third places (41/42, 44/45, 46/47 and 47 / 48). At Atletico played 193 league games, and no less than 125 goals.
