INFOKarl Barufka played as left wing half and left winger, sometimes also inside left, very versatile player equally good in defensive and offensive tasks. Kalli was most known for his powerful shot with his left foot in which he had more strength than Ferenc Puskas. Barufka had very good technique, very combative player and worker with good running capacities. Barufka began his career at FC Schalke 04, during the Second World War interrupted by a brief membership in the Matrosenelf Wilhelmshaven. Only once stood in a Barufka Schalke final formation. The DFB Cup final in 1941 losing 1-2 to the squire with the Dresdner SC. Since that time there were no substitutes, it had Barufka hard to play to their team. The next stop was then the first FC Pforzheim, before he landed at VfB Stuttgart. With this club then he celebrated his greatest successes. In 1950, nearly struck in the final of the German Championship Kickers Offenbach 2-1. Two years later, the next title. This time the first FC Saarbrücken and similar hard-fought battle 3-2, defeated.
