INFO

Enrique Flamini started as a centre forward but with the arrival in Italy started to play deeper. Player with great technique and dribbling as typical south american, had good shot as well. He had solid strength despite a pretty slim stature, possessed good speed which allowed him to make the good runs on the left side. Coming from Racing Avellaneda, arrived in Italy six months before the beginning of the 1939-1940 season in search of documents showing that the Italian origins, which are found and then allow the membership to Lazio as a native. Flamini had played striker in Argentina, and from the start with the shirt biancoceleste, in a friendly pre-season lost to Napoli 2-1, demonstrates immediately his qualities. On 26 May 1940, with the team in an emergency, he made decisive goal in 1-0 in the derby against the "cousins"of Rome, with a shot from distance that beat the opponent goalkeeper Guido Masetti. After eleven seasons in biancoceleste (except the war between 1943 and 1946), he moved to Reggio Emilia and after a brief return to top biancoceleste closes his career at Serie IV with the shirt of Terracina. Its budget is in the Lazio total of 282 appearances (271 in 11 league and Cup in Italy) and 45 goals (44 in the league and a Cup in Italy). After hanging his boots on a nail, Flamini started his coaching career in the youth team Lazio. With the smaller teams Lazio won numerous successes and discovered players like Bruno Giordano. In Lazio has held for a short period, the role of coach of the first team in season 1960-1961, that of the first relegation to Serie B. Flamini has also been chosen by many coaches as vice. Enrique Flamini died on 11/01/1982.
