INFO:One of the best ever African defenders. Marcel was very important figure in RCF team, mainly a left back in old system, very skillful and intellgent, sober, efficient, athletic with very intelligent interventions and elegant mainly focusing on defensive tasks. He had excellent sense of positioning and heading abilities but also good technique. From the age of twelve, he signed with the colors red and blue FC Rochambeau, modest club of Bab-el-Oued, and in 1937, he signed for the ASSE, leading club championship Algiers. Under the guidance of his coach Paul Baron Marcel progressing quickly enough to be his called, at 17, in selection of Algiers. In 1942, mobilized, it evolves on Sunday with the ASSE.
