Valentino Mazzola (Cassano d'Adda, January 26, 1919 - Superga, May 4, 1949) was an Italian football striker role. His life was shattered by the tragedy of Superga. Counts 196 appearances and 93 goals in Serie A. Valentino was born in Cassano d'Adda, the border between the provinces of Milan and Bergamo. The origins of his family were humble: his father has been working as a laborer. Soon the father died, leaving his wife alone with Valentino and his four brothers. With the untimely death of his father, the family is exposed to increasingly large economic difficulties, so Valentino leaves school in fifth grade and went to work to help the family. At the age of 10 years, plunging into the waters of the Adda, saves the life of a his four years younger: Andrea Bonomi, who will be future column AC Milan captain. Mazzola was married to a girl in Cassano d'Adda and had two sons, one of which, Sandro, would become a player of Inter and the Italian national team. The other son, also future football player, was named in honor of Ferruccio Novo Ferruccio, president of the "Grande Torino". In 1946 his marriage ended and Mazzola won custody of his son Sandro, who lectured about football. The first team Mazzola was the team of the city where he was born: the Sporting Group Carlo Tresoldi Cassano d'Adda. In Tresoldi started playing 14 years fighting for the championship boys Committee ULICE Treviglio in the 1933-1934 season. Valentino shoots ahead and come to the first team, which competed in the regional championship of the First Division 1936-1937. He scored in the Tresoldi but often do not have the staff to be able to compete and get in a Series C and also in the 1937-1938 season ends in late position in the standings. Following the card Alfa Romeo in Milan, arrived from the previous season in Serie C, with which he served during the 1938-1939 season. He began with the Italian national team April 5, 1942, when then-coach Vittorio Pozzo had him take the field during the friendly match Italy-Croatia (4-0). Its first center in blue came a few days later, namely April 19, when the Blues swept 4-0 by Spain. During Switzerland-Italy (4-4) of 11 November 1945 made four assists. His first game as captain of the national team came during the game against Czechoslovakia, December 14, 1947, which ended with a score of 3-1 to the Azzurri. Overall Mazzola donned the national team 12 times scoring 4 goals.

Erase SB he never played in that position also , his MEN and TWM looks to high for me i dont think that he was more Support and Resistance player that Zanetti

Thanks...Well, if i remenber well, he could play as WF too (or that he played in that role earlier in his career)

He also played as SB as you can read here where it is highlighting the versatility of this player:

"Operava praticamente ovunque: essendo forte nei tackle, era utile in difesa in fase di recupero; impostava le azioni, giocando un gran numero di palloni, cercandoseli in tutto il campo e spesso le concludeva. Esclusa la sua esperienza come ala, all'inizio della sua carriera nella squadra dell'Alfa Romeo, i ruoli in cui fu impiegato maggiormente sono quelli di mezzala sinistra, interno e attaccante. Occasionalmente occupò anche la posizione di terzino, con risultati di tutto rispetto, di mezzala destra, di mediano e di portiere. Gli capitò anche di venire spostato tre volte nella stessa partita, partendo da mezzala per poi giocare da mediano, da terzino e infine terminare la gara al centro dell'attacco, tale era la sua versatilità".
