INFO:

It was the striker's first league title in Rome, that of 1942. Nicknamed "the Fornaretto"for its origins (it was in fact the son of a family of bakers Frascatana, Amadei returned to resume activities with great success at the end of his career), was one of the greatest striker in the history of Rome, played in the team AS Roma 1936 to 1948, with a lapse of one year in Bergamo in Serie B 1938-1939.

He became player of Rome, after a successful test the knowledge of parents who would not have approved of his attempt. Since the beginning of his career began to help the family, which was then poured into severe economic difficulties after the family bakery was destroyed by bombing in World War II [1]. Amadei was known to many for his kindness and his generosity, which he demonstrated every Sunday in the field, entering the law in the hearts of Roma fans.

Amadei were the principal qualities of the shot and the speed. He made his debut in the 1936-1937 season, May 2, 1937 in Roma-Fiorentina 2-2 in Rome at the end of the season he finished 10th in Serie A and was a finalist in the Italian Cup, beating early in his career as a right wing (will later be moved to the center by the coach Shaffer, for the lack of team-mate Provident). On May 9, 1937-Roma 5-1 scoring in Lucchese became the youngest player to score in Serie A, who still holds records in October 2010.

After the break of the championships due to World War II, the player was sold by Rome, which had major financial problems, Inter, who beat, as declared by the same Amadei, the offerings of Turin (proposing an exchange with Gabetto and Ments) and Juventus. However, remained attached to his team, much to ask, if Rome had problems, and not to be deployed at the earliest opportunity with the Lombards, by his own admission to play a game because he did not feel anonymous. It did, however, also apply in the Milan team, continuing to score as usual, passing the milestone of 100 goals in Serie A; They include the three goals in a derby finished 6-5 played in Novara, a disadvantage for 4 - 1, was moved as a center thus creating three goals in a game that Massimo Moratti, during the celebrations for the centenary of the Inter told him to always remember, though at the time was very young.
