INFO:Şükrü Mustafa Gülesin was one of the most unusual players on the football stage. Physically giant with almost 2 meters of height and 100 kg but unbelievable weak in physical contrasts and not only that, he was so fearful of physical contrast that he'd immediatelly fall to the ground after the minimum contact with rival, Unbelievable. Than he oficially scored 32 goals directly from the corner kicks although some Turkish experts say that number is even 38 unoficially. He could score directly from the free kick equally effective from the right and left side. Next amazing thing is he was very fast which is pretty unbelievable considering his mass. Sukru was mainly centre forward and left winger. He was fantastic penalty and free kick taker, had explosive running start. He was notorious for his private life which was far from life of great athlete. He loved alcohol, nightlife, expensive cars and vas heavy smoker and couldn't support any reproof on him. Sukru had very strong shot, great heading abilities, very brave player and decent technique. He was witty and casual guy. He began his career at home and then was hired by Lazio in the 1950-1951 season, to be immediately loaned to Palermo. Comes to town July 7, 1950, signing a two-year contract for 5 million pounds per season. The relationship with the President Raimondo Lanza di Trabia was immediately positive. With the Rosanero began in October 1950 against AC Milan . In his first season in the Sicilian earth, playing centavanti, scored 13 goals in 28 matches played. One evening in April 1951 was shadowed by a local outlet and beaten by three individuals who left him on the ground bleeding and unconscious, found by the police, was taken to hospital and gave him eight stitches on his head (where he was hit with a wooden club) and two in the cheekbone. The President and Commissioner Raymond Lanza Pine Guzzardella not made it a scandal, but from that moment the relationship with management Rosanero worse. Then tritornò at Lazio, and despite the 16 goals in 29 games in the season 1952-1953 he returned to Palermo, then to put an end to his Italian adventure. In his career he scored 226 networks, of which 32 directly from a corner. He dressed in 11 times the Turkish national team, scored 4 goals. He played in both games of its national at the London Olympics of 1948, or the knockout round against China (win 4-0) and the quarter-finals against Yugoslavia where he scored his team, but a network was eliminated for being defeated 3-1.
