INFO:The clone of Coen Dillen, practically completely the same players playing in the same team at the same time, the only difference was stronger foot and position. Fransen was inside left whose main and only quality was his rocket shot, many people say he had even stronger shot than Dillen. He wasn't particularly gifted or talented but was excellent shooter and the nightmare for keepers. Not good technically and barely mobile but could score from all distances, had decent pace and strength. In his hometown Vlierden Piet plays for years, often with his five brothers, the local SPV, the St. Paul Society. Then he plays in Mulo in Helmond and Deurne. Beware its 28th report Piet joined PSV and Philips where he gets a job. In the beginning, no one has a lot of confidence in the long-player that relies primarily on the unprecedented power shot in his left leg. Even before the introduction of professional football in 1954, he made 122 goals for PSV in the league. Even Fiorentina are interested in the shooter, but his wife will Eindhoven far enough, so Piet Fransen remains at PSV. Fransen forms in Eindhoven with Coen Dillen a Superduo in rush. Piet Fransen is often left on the loot position and Dillen right. Together they score 40 to 60 goals per season. Behind aforementioned Coen Dillen and striker Willy van der Kuijlen is Fransen in third place in terms of the all time top scorers of PSV. The left attacker plays from the 1948-1949 season to the 1959-1960 season for the club from Eindhoven. Here he comes up to 310 games in the Premier League in which he scored 210. In 1950 Fransen with PSV win the Asian Cup in 1951 and he is the club champion. First Dutch is a goal in a European Cup match. This happens in the game against Rapid Vienna on September 21, 1955. In the season 1959-1960 Piet Fransen plays his last match for PSV, he is 39 years old. He died in 1987.
