Fedotov could play most of the match inactively, lull the vigilance of his marker, and then play in the remaining minutes in such a way that only these minutes remained in his memory. Unusually plastic, technical, he punished defenders and goalkeepers for the smallest mistake, a miss. It only took a moment to relax, to lose confidence, as Fedotov mercilessly "shot" our goal. Fedotov seemed like some kind of clumsy bumpkin to whom everything that happened on the field was completely alien and uninteresting. He demonstrated an amazing ability to suddenly somehow stand apart and become invisible. But woe to that opponent who frivolously fell for the bait of this "phlegmatic". He, like a predator in ambush, was waiting for his prey (the ball), and as soon as she approached, an amazing metamorphosis took place with this bumpkin. Having mastered the ball, Fedotov instantly transformed. His feline creeping run made it possible, it seemed, to evade his pursuers without much effort and deliver devastating blows to the target.
