INFO:

Lucien Pasteur is still the symbol of football like him want the viewers of Servette. During 18 years at the Geneva Servette raved about her "delicate", "eleganaten" exceptional and technicians. "Lulu," as he was called, was a true dribbling artist, a latin virtuoso caliber. On the ball he could do everything. Playing mostly as a left inside forward, he threw the defenders thanks to his many different types of feints and deception never ceases to amaze and horror. It was for these qualities as a footballer who allowed it to a ripe old age of 43 years to play in the National League. They called him so well as the "Schweizerischen Stanley Matthew." Under the leadership of Trello Abegglen, Lucien Pasteur was already 19 years old Swiss champion. Even under Karl Rappan he shaped with his stupendous technique of the game Servette. In total, he completed more than 600 games for the Grenats. "Jacky" Fatton and "Lulu" Pasteur harmonized perfectly for several years and played every defensive in Switzerland dizzy. At 37 he left Servette and subsequently played, still very successful, mainly in the lower leagues. With Martigny and Etoile Carouge, he went reluctantly to the NLB. He was a brilliant playmaker who could cope, but found only one on the offensive designed game system (... or wanted to). The duel he did not love. That was probably the reason why he brought it to no more than 8 applications for the national team. In the "Nati" he played between 1946 and 1952. His goal against Austria in 1946 meant the much-acclaimed victory. Lucien Pasteur was with Swiss champions Servette total of 3 times and 1 Cup Winners Cup. He died in May 1980 after a long illness
