One of the greatest ever Everton FC players in the club's history. Excellent player who started his career as center-half, and after the war converted to center-back. He was blessed with amazing vision and long passing ability, and also with calmness in decisive situations. He used to dribble his way out of his penalty box through the opposition attackers leaving the crowd in disbelief. He was dominant in the air, immaculate on the ground and possessed a rocket-like shot. He played for the Wales NT in 17 matches.
