Del Bianco was a right-back, occasionally deployed on the left. His career started in 1933 at Gallaratese. One year later, he signed for Pro Patria. He had his best time from 1938 to 1943, playing two years at Bari and three at Livorno, making 58 and 89 appearances respectively. He scored 2 goals with Bari, both from penalty. He retired in 1948 after spending four seasons at Legnano.
Del Bianco was a tenacious man marker, fast and tough. He possessed a remarkable anticipation ability and a powerful, spectacular clearance. Whenever the opposing striker got past him, he was never ashamed to stop him with a foul. However, on the days he performed poorly, he could go overboard with his tendency of committing fouls, often getting sanctioned by the referee. Nonetheless, his consistency during his time at Bari and Livorno was impressive, helping the latter to nearly win the 1942-43 Serie A title.
