INFO:Bortoletti was a half-back. He spent most of his career at Milan, making 225 appearances from 1933 to 1940 always as a regular starter, scoring once. He was team captain in the 1939-40 season. He played also for Triestina and Padova among others and retired in 1946. Bortoletti was a selfless, tenacious and highly consistent midfielder. He was focused in stopping the opposing attacks and control the midfield. He did his job with fairness as he didn't commit fouls. Moreover, he supported his teammates whenever needed and played the ball with short passes straight to the inside forwards. He didn't use to deliver long balls because he didn't possess a powerful enough kick.
