INFO:Spinato was a centre-forward. He spent almost his entire career at Vicenza, making more than 200 appearances and scoring 124 goals (5 more if we include a few canceled matches) from 1926 to 1937. He was the league top scorer with 43 goals in the 1929-30 season, helping his team to obtain the promotion to the Italian Prima Divisione. His goals then helped Vicenza to be promoted to the Serie B in 1933. He retired in 1938 after playing for one season at Schio as coach-player. He's Vicenza's all-time top scorer. He's the only player in the club's history to have scored five goals in a match twice which he did in the same league season, the 1935-36.
While not much is known about Spinato's technical abilities, the available reports from Vicenza's Serie B seasons in the 1930s suggest that the striker was the typical in-box player who liked to receive the ball from the flank, for example from corner kick, and beat the goalkeeper from a favourable position with unstoppable and often powerful shots.
