Jaroslav Burgr was one of the best Czechoslovak defenders of all time. He was very strong and hard defender but he is very fair and not brutal. He also had solid passing to start attack, solid dribble, great and true leader in defence line with very good understanding with his teammates, good header and had solid technique. He was a participant in two World Cups, in 1934 and 1938. He played 57 matches for the national team.
