INFO:Istvan Balogh (Budapest, 1912. September 21 - Budapest, 1992. October 27), was a former Hungarian footballer who played as left-half. A tireless worker, tenacious, hard-bound football was. Especially distinguished himself in defense, but striker fed virtues shine. Warrior fighting spirit and the people close by cutting carefully the situation made it difficult for his opponents. In 1927, he started his career in Pestújhelyi SC until 1933. And then he played with Ujpest, where throughout his career and played in 231 matches and scored 15 goals as the left-half. When he played with Ujpest he won four-times champion, four-times champion silver and bronze were two-times champion. In 1946, he retired from football. Between 1937 and 1940 he played with Hungarian national football team 13 times. He was a member of the 1938 France World Cup silver medal team.
