INFO:György Szűcs (Szombathely, 23 April 1912 – Budapest, 10 December 1991) was a Hungarian footballer who played for Újpest FC, as well as representing the Hungarian national football team at the 1934 and the 1938 FIFA World Cup. He went on to coach Salgótarjáni BTC, SZEAC and Tatabányai Bányász. The superb physiques great players filled the key role of fullback. Flair located, kicked both feet perfectly, and especially excelled playing head. He was excellent passer and playmaker. 1932 was a new Szombathely to Budapest, where eight football seasons changed, while 187 league games into a career, he scored five goals. Three times Hungarian champion, a single Central European Cup winner. Since 1985 the New Pest Dózsa eternal champion. Between 1934 and 1939 contained 25 times the national eleven. He was a member of the 1938 France World Cup silver medal team. Between 1955 and 1972 had a total of 278 Hungarian league coach.
