He was short but powerful strenght. He was very fast striker with exceptional reflexes and a wonderful insight into the move. He got nicknamed "El Mago del Balon" because his exceptional dribbling and fantastic technique, he also had strong shot and can shot precise and can score from any angles.
He died March 26, 1995 at the age 85. The team's LD Alajuelense stadium, where his heart was emtombed in monument below the East section seats was named after him.
