INFO:Ştefan Dobay (September 26,1909 - April 7,1994) was the first Romanian player to international media acclaim, being named "the best Romanian player" of the time. List of Romanian football giants opened in the interwar period, while Romanian football emblem to be confused with Ripensia Timisoara, Stephen Dobay, star of "most aristocratic team" weather the first professional band of Romanian football.
"Calul" was famous for his shots that pierced literally net.

"La un moment dat, Calul a pornit-o în galop şi, de la vreo zece metri, şi-a expediat ghiuleaua spre poarta noastră. Mingea a spart plasa şi a ieşit afară. Vă spun cu mîna pe inimă că nu am văzut în viaţa mea o lovitură atît de puternică. Cînd balonul a trecut prin plasă, a urmat un moment de tăcere mormîntală în tribune. Imediat însă, spectatorii au început să aplaude cu frenezie"
Between 1941 and 1948, Dobay have come to evolve in Hungary, Budapest SC Torekves and then, after the war, the Karres Medias current Gaz Metan, then devotes antrenoratului.
