INFO:

Rodolfo Volk is legendary pre-war striker. He was centre forward with excellent scoring capacities. Very strong and bulky player with fantastic agility when receiving the ball, usually turned with his back to goal, than he'd quickly turn around and fire a rocket and nobody could stop him in that. Volk had very powerful shot and could score from all positions, had a lot of quick and sudden movements but he was pretty weak technically. The historical Roma striker, began his career with the stream. Purchased from Rome with Marcello Mihalich (it was then turned to Naples), he soon became one of the first idols of the Field "Testaccio", where he was the first to score a goal official was also the author of the decisive goal in the first derby between Roma and Lazio, in 1929, which ended 1-0 for the formation testaccina. During the Fascist period, her surname was Italianized as "Folchi", as requested by the regime, in addition, during his military service in Florence, took part in the second race (unofficial) history of Fiorentina, which took place in 1926 against Sampierdarenese. On that occasion he used the pseudonym "Bolten" because the conscripts were forbidden to engage in any activities outside the military service. Giallorossi particularly regarded by the public, was nicknamed Siegfried, then quickly turned into more Roman "Sigghefrido". It was also called "Sciabbolone", as opposed to "Sciaboletta", the derogatory nickname given to King Vittorio Emanuele III, was sold early in Serie B at Pisa in 1934 for internal strife with Guaita and Banchero and, after a season in the ranks of Triestina Serie A, returned to Fiumana, with whose shirt got a promotion to Serie B in 1940-41. After a career as a footballer, he became clerk in the headquarters of the Pools of Piazzale Milvian Bridge in Rome, died in 1983 in a nursing home of the Castelli Romani, after being hit by sclerotic heart disease compensated, and only now reduced to poverty.
