Svoboda was very strong player in good condition most known for his rocket shot and good dribbling skills, he was technically gifted player equally good in scoring and asissting, very muscular and knew to score from long range. Svoboda was born in 1926 to Slavia Prague. With Slavia Svoboda was eight times national champion. In the 1934/35 season he was top scorer with 27. In the first Svoboda scored a total of 101 league goals for Slavia and is a member of the club "kanonýrů ligových". 1930 there was a change Svoboda affair. He refused to renew his contract and went on even longer for Slavia. He was a consultant in writing, to move to Sparta Prague and was to collect 100,000 crowns. However, the consultant had also assured to receive a compensation of 50,000 crowns, should the transfer not take place. When these arrangements came to the public, recalled the changes and Svoboda remained at Slavia. The compensation he had, after much back and forth but do not pay. Svoboda was Czechoslovakian champion in: 1929, 1930, 1931, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1937. In the Czechoslovak national team played 43 times Svoboda, while he scored 22 goals. He is among the top scorers of Czechoslovakia. His debut came on 6 June 1926 in the 1-2 defeat against Hungary in Budapest. At the World Cup in 1934 he belonged to the Czechoslovak strain formation. It took three games in the quarterfinal victory against Switzerland, he scored a goal. The last game played for Czechoslovakia on 15 Svoboda May 1937, his team defeated Scotland 1-3. František Svoboda died in 1948.
