Gall played as wing half although he wasn't typical old fashioned wing half. He was a player with very offensive attitude of extra class with excellent dribbling which was his trademark. He was weak physically and didn't have some great defensive work like most of the players on his position, but it was compensated with fantastic footwork, surprising solo runs and passes and his technically gifted playing style passed excellent to his club and NT since they had the same tactics and style of play.
