Hans Mock is former Austrian player who played also for Germany after the occupation of his homeland, although he was born in Poland. He played as wing half and made excellent midfield line with Smistik, Nausch and co. Mock was very elegant player with great technique, liked to join the offensive moves but was also able to do good defensive work, had good tactical awareness and good playmaking abilities. Johann Mock began his career at FC Nicholson (later FC Vienna), in 1927 before he moved to Vienna, Austria. With the Violets could technically elegant and perfect means three runners to win the Austrian Cup (1933, 1935, 1936).
