Legendary HSV player, one of the best ever players to wear HSV shirt. Although playing as inside left he was prolific scorer with 233 goals in 193 games for the club, he was excellent technician with sublime footwork and brillant close control, could take the playmaker role, score and assist. Rudolf had powerful shot, two-footed player but sometimes was very stubborn and often had some problems with his coaches. On 30 March 1913 Rudolf was born in the Prussian Harburg. In the prison camp he fell ill in 1947 at the Ruhr, on the intestinal illness he died on 1 Juli 1947. Today Harburg's greatest football players is almost forgotten.
