One of the greatest Swedish pre-War players. Keller played mainly as inside left, great conductor but also good scorer. He was very slow player but extremly intelligent with great vision and skills in organization of attacks and passing, also possessed good scoring skills. Keller played 1924-1940 for IK Sleipner from Norrkoping, with whom he was Swedish Champion in 1938. With 150 league goals scored he is currently among the top ten scorers in the country. Tore Keller was great especially in the 30's. Already in 1929, he was about to be washed, when it was revealed that Tore was 30 kronor a week in wages from Sleipner to train as an electrician. Later on he got a job as an electrician put him in a sensible way could combine work and football. It was in 1920 - and 1930's that Tore Keller gilded IK Sleipner with his intelligent football.
