Attack / Defence Awareness Card: BalancedINFO:One of the greatest Dutch players. Van Heel was the brain and captain of Feyenoord in the years before the war. He played as inside left and left wing half. He was pretty slow but technically gifted, had solid strength and was good in aerial play. Van Heel had great vision and superb passing range, he'd put great swerve on the pass to remain out of the range of defenders and softly loose on speed in the right moment to land on the head or foot of his teammates. Van Heel was the fourth of eleven children of a Roman Catholic family in Rotterdam-Zuid. His father had moved there from North Brabant, and was hired as a longshoreman.
