Carlo Reguzzoni was one of the greatest Italian wingers, and in terms of scoring he was one of the best wingers in whole history of football. "Carletto" was player of good technique, fast in finishing, with a running moves like sprinters, had peculiar running style with his arms outspread and little bit hunched. Reguzzoni had innate goal instinct, had many assists for puricelli's heading cannons, he was known also for his acrobatic dribblings and good shot. Sadly he never had real chance in NT because Torino born NT coach V.Pozzo favoured local Torino based star R.Orsi, and by the fact he was antifacist which made him not liked by government. Raised in the Pro Patria, in first-team debuted at sixteen and a half years, in 1924, scored after a one-two in game won by biancoblù against Milan away 4-2. Despite his young age becomes the owner immediately fixed, dragging his goals the team to promotion to the First Division at the end of the season 1925-1926. In the 1926-1927 season, just 18 years is the reference point of the Pro Patria, for the first time in its history lands in the National Division (now League). At the end of the season will be 10 Reguzzoni's goals. In the 1928-1929 season in National Division, the couple Reguzzoni-Gregar marks a total of 41 goals, 29 for Reguzzoni in 27 games, 12 in 24 for Gregar. The 29 goals by Reguzzoni, including three on penalty, apply the second place in Group A of the markers of national division, and third overall on the two group behind Rossetti II of Turin with 36 and Giuseppe Meazza (Ambrosiana-Inter) , with 33. Scored 13 goals in 1929-1930, going online the first time at Brescia, for the 6th day, with the Pro 2-1 defeat and the latest in Pro Patria-Triestina 1-1, the penultimate day of the season. For the season went to Bologna, where he tied his team to success in racing for most of the rest of his career. On September 28, 1930 made his debut with the shirt rossoblù in Bologna-Triestina (6-1), achieving two goals. At the end of the championship mixed on the vintage of 1946, closed the relationship with the Bologna game in the last race rossoblù April 14, 1946 in Genoa against Genoa. He returned to Pro Patria in Serie B, helping to bring in the national top division, finishing his career in Serie A championship in the next forty-years. That season will play 17 matches making a goal against Milan at San Siro (Milan-Pro Patria 4-2) when he again took a shot from the edge of Turconi II and turned quickly in goal. In the second round, due to physical problems, played only two matches against Sampdoria and Lazio in the game against Lazio March 14, 1948, played his last game as a player. In Serie A he played 401 games in the league with the meshes of Pro Patria and Bologna, scoring a total of 155 goals. He is still on the 19th place of the top scorers of all time in the Italian championship. With 145 goals in Serie A is the second scorer of all time, in the premier league of Bologna, a team where he played a total of 417 games between league and European cup competitions, scoring 167 goals in total, of which 145 are in the league and 22 in the cups.
