Probably the best Polish centre forward after Lubanski. Nawrot was mainly centre forward but sometimes was used as inside forward as well. Player with excellent heading abilities and great leap, very fast and agile, technically gifted and two-footed, very efficient with good positioning and astuteness in the box. Alumnus of Wawel Krakow, Cracovia played then (1922-1925 and 1926), Ivory Coast 1 pp Legions Vilnius (1925), Legia Warsaw (1927-1936) and Polonia Warsaw (1937-1939). He appeared on the field at the position switch and center-forward, he scored 106 in the colors of the Legion of goals in league matches, the next 8 - a Polish footballer. He made 19 games for the national team, demonstrating the high efficiency - scored in these meetings 16 goals. The outbreak of World War II found him in Lviv, he spent some time in captivity in the USSR, then served in the army of General Anders. He participated in the battle of Arnhem. He was a sports instructor in the army, after the war, the club has played in Scotland. He remained in exile for the rest of his life, did not maintain contact with friends in the country. He died in 1982.
