INFO:

One of the best scorers in Feyenoord's history. Manus played equally good as outside right and inside right, player of very short size but very impulsive and hardworking, always searching for open space and oportunities to score, very fast and agile with good attacking intelligence and work rate. He was one of the twelve Feyenoord players on 27 March 1937 with a friendly match with Belgium Beerschot the new stadium De Kuip inwijdden. Beaten by Gade for 37,825 spectators was in the pouring rain 5-2 for the home team. Vrauwdeunt played 253 league games for Feyenoord herein and made 123 goals. As a boy of eighteen, he was late 1933 for the Netherlands, Austria at the Orange selection achieved. With 1 meter 59, he is the smallest player ever to Orange came out. Manus was a patient boy. Until early 1938 he was fifteen times in total reserves at the Dutch national team and only the bitter cold March 7, 1937 he was allowed to play against the Swiss. Not his favorite right, but if left in the place of the injured Kick Smit. He did fine: first goal for Beb Bakhuys prepared second goal himself. The reviews were very positive for the man who was just on the point of marrying. And yet he never afterwards beyond the reserve position. In the second match against the legendary pros Arsenal on May 8, 1938, he was match winner. He scored the only goal. Vrauwdeunt died on June 8, 1982.
