Pietro Rava (Cassine, January 21, 1916 - Turin, November 5, 2006) was an Italian football player and coach, 1938 world champion and Olympic champion in 1936. He is one of only four Italian players, along with Alfredo Foni, Sergio Bertoni and Ugo Locatelli, who won both the World Cup gold medal and the Olympic Games. Counts 316 appearances and 12 goals in Serie A. In Juventus he spent much of his career. He started his career in Serie A November 3, 1935, in the 1935-1936 league match between Fiorentina and Juventus, which ended 1-1. At the end of the season, was called by Vittorio Pozzo to participate in the Olympic Games in Berlin, where he debuted in the national team August 3, 1936 against the United States (where he was also expelled, but suspended for the following races) and then play the other three games of the tournament, including the victorious final of the Olympic Stadium on August 15, 2-1 against Austria. In 1937. he made his debut in the senior team. He was the owner in the team that won the World Cup in 1938. In the national team played in 30 games (2 as captain) between 1936. and 1946. only losing one in 1939. against Switzerland. In tribute to Rava, Juventus, 6 November 2006, he played against Napoli with mourning in the arm.

DEF can be lowered to 90 , he was not better that Cannavaro and he's SPA can be in 79-80 , i read that he's first touch to begin the game was incredible.

Other player of this Decade with suspicius high rated TWM and MEN. Is necessary a review of that abilitys.

To me it seems that he was right-footed although playing primarily on the left side:

General update. He was left-footed, although he was good with right foot as well. Very strong and unusually offensive for that era, good tackler with strong shot and good heading.
