Accordingly to João Máximo who wrote in 1965 about Fausto's career, he only played as CB in 1937 at Flamengo when the Hungarian Kruschner was the coach.

Decision in which Fausto did not accept and he was punished by the club. He came back later to Flamengo as center-half again.

Overall this set matches with what I read, apart of stamina that should be highlighted as a strength in 1929/30 (El Diluvio - newspaper from madrid - can prove that in 1931 when he wasnt already the same).

Also, he was a problematic player with a difficult temper causing some trouble during games. I dont know how it should be reflected in stats. A lower mentality would be the case? He was a very intelligent player in the field though, way above average in his time.

PS: 1929/30 he had first tuberculosis symptoms which didnt affected his high stamina but took him out from a few games due to flu and afterwards made him play some bad matches when playing with a fever.
