Attack / Defence Awareness Card: Defence-MindedINFOS:Legend of the Yugoslavian football, great right half of the BSK Beograd and Yugoslavian NT , remembered by his elegant way of play, good passer of the ball, a player who often tend to acrobatic interventions, but his biggest quality was his marking of the opponent, he was a player who would follow his opponent wherever he would go ( legendary Gyorgy Orth was frustrated with this - „This little guy is boring like dental disease, it's like we're glued to each other, I can't breathe " - litteral translation of Orth's words) He played for two clubs in his career: FK Mačva Šabac where he debuted in the first team as a 15 year boy, and BSK Beograd where he reached a peak of his career and became international. For Yugoslav NT he played in 52 games scoring only once - an own goal. Apart from his footballing career which in his words never were his main preoccupation, he was an electric engineer. As engineer, he was decorated twice for contribution to state progress. He was one of the founders of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Belgrade where he worked as professor.
